Did you know , we spend the most time of our life in the bedroom? The quality of your sleep is an important aspect and can set the tone for the day.

A nice coordinated decor will bring in the correct mood and totally transform your life.

When decorating your bedroom , the first thing you would want to consider is the furniture placement. This means that we set the focal point and continue by building around it .

The focal point of a bedroom is normally the wall that the bed goes against. it is ideal that we create symmetry on this wall by placing a pair of bedside tables and lamps on each side.

The wardrobe will take up a considerable amount of space so is best to be placed both practical and aesthetic. Sliding doors are great for tight spaces and mirrored or glossy doors will bring more light and make the  space feel larger . On the other hand, bespoke wardrobe would make a nice statement and will allow you to organise the space based on your exact needs.

If the space allows it, the next think that is nice to have in a bedroom is a place to sit, other than the bed . This can be a bench, at the end of the bed , or a nice chair to create a reading corner .

Apart of the basic furniture, that any bedroom needs, more generous sized rooms can have a conversational area ( 2 or more seats), a dressing area, and a make up setting .

This bedroom, pictured above has a beautiful neutral and earthed backdrop perfect for a tranquil and relaxed space. And it feels connected with the nature not only by colour, but also by the beautiful details on the curtains, bed, and wall art .

The  blue accents of colour make a statement  and take this bedroom out of the ordinary. They tie in the whole room, connect, and create symmetry and balance.
